Currently the use of information systems based ON navigation technologies for road passenger transport passes the next stage of development.
Now these systems presented a number of additional requirements relating to the need to transfer data to an external subsystem attach additional subsystems - analytical , passenger information , etc.
Implementation of  these requirements needs to build a regional information and control system for transport, have a hierarchical structure, covering and combining all levels of management and basic tasks such as design, planning, operational management, communication and control of the results of the various transport companies.
At  the same time one of the problems of constructing regional navigation information systems for transport, it is a problem of compatibility information systems created in regions, towns and individual operators carriers .
Creating a unified systems analysts for passenger transportation, as well as information systems is  difficult due the absence of a unified, common to all registry systems background information (lists of codes and stopping points, routes, carriers etc) .
